Payment

Payment must be made at the time of service.  We will attempt to estimate your insurance benefits, but please keep in mind this is an estimate only.  We accept cash or personal checks as well as major credit cards.  We also offer various financial arrangements for more extensive treatment plans.

Insurance

Many of our patients have dental insurance.  We will do our best to work with whatever plan you have, but please understand that there are hundreds of benefit plans with thousands of exclusions.  When we provide and estimate coverage, it is strictly an estimate -- we cannot be responsible to understand each and every plan.  It is imperative that you bring your insurance card to your first visit.  The amount of coverage your policy gives depends on the plan you participate in.  In most cases the insurance will not cover the full cost of services.  We request that you be prepared to pay for the uncovered portion of services, including deductibles and co-payments, at the time of service.

Dr. Hartel is a preferred provider of both Essex Dental Plan and Delta Dental Plan of Missouri. Dr. Hartel is not a participant in any Dental HMOs (DMOs).
