Hey Everyone!
Keep your eyes out for a new, exciting dental product
called "Agent" by Listerine. It is a terrific mouthrinse to disclose plaque on
kids teeth. We use it in my home to find out where my son Eric "forgot" to
brush... it stains the plaque a bright blue that can't be missed. All you have
to do is brush until the blue is gone and you can rest assured that the teeth
are clean!
Listerine "Agent" comes in Cool Mint Blue and Bubblegum Red. It
costs about $4.95 a bottle which will last several months

I have been complaining for years about a local anesthetic on
the market which has the potential to cause persistent (even permanent)
numbness. My reports to the FDA have gone unanswered until now.. The medication
is called "Septocaine" (also known as Articaine). Although it has been on the
market for years, the manufacturer denies knowledge of such a complication.
Today I received a notice that my suspicions were correct and that the incidence
of persistent numbness is more than ten times that of any other anesthetic. We
do still use the medicine in specific instances and have had no cases of delayed
recovery when used judiciously.
